Nintendo have announced that their secret game is a new addition to the classic ExciteBike franchise for Wii Ware.
The news, which was exclusively revealed by the Nintendo Channel, has provoked mixed feelings amongst the gaming community. Excitebike: World Rally is exclusively for Nintendo Wii Ware and will be available online, November 9th.

Frontier’s stunning WiiWare launch title LostWinds is receiving a a much sought after sequel titled Lost Winds: Winter of the Melodias.
The game, which is revealed in the current issue of Edge magazine, will allow gamers to switch seasons in order to solve puzzles. Lead protagonist Toku can now swim in water as well as conjure up cyclones capable of drilling through rocks and picking up water.

New games will be appearing on the Nintendo DSi shop on a weekly basis Nintendo of America have confirmed.
Much like the Wii Shopping Channel, the Nintendo DSi shop will allows consumers to access a large amount of downloadable content for their hand-held, including applications and downloadable games. New content will be available on a weekly basis, with customers in the UK most likely to see new downloads appear on a Friday.

- Lost Winds – 1000 Wii points Defend Your Castle – 500 Wii points
- Pop – 700 Wii points

Hudson software appear to be fully embracing Wii Ware after announcing a slew of titles for the intriguing platform.
The best known addition to Hudsons prospective Wii Ware games is the Bomberman series, which coincidently is also receiving a Wii release.
Also joining this timeless but frequently rehashed classic is a fresh Hudson IP titled Blue Oasis which apparently resembles a virtual fish tank.
Currently Hudson have 10 Wii Ware titles lined up for release this year.

Something that’s all too common for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 titles is the newfangled ability for the consumer to download additional in-game content, thanks to Wii Ware this could soon become reality on Wii.
This potentially earth shattering news comes from Famitsu.com who’ve uncovered information suggesting that Bandai’s word puzzler Mojipittan will be able to receive downloadable content via the forthcoming Wii Ware service.

Recently Vicarious Visions CEO Karthik Bala was invited to participate at the 2007 RIT Entrepreneurs Conference in Rochester, NY, informing show-goers just how supportive Nintendo were being with regards to Wii Ware development.
According to Karthik, Nintendo are being very ‘open’ regarding what they’re going to allow on the service and that the service is steadily on course to launch sometime early next year.
