School kids who deliberately ditch their sports kits at home in an effort to avoid playing physical sports such as Rugby or Football are being offered a chance to play the Nintendo Wii at a select school in Gravesend, Kent.
They are great to use as a carrot on a stick to get lads disaffected with PE back into enjoying exercise. We have been picking out the youngsters who deliberately leave their kit at home – the ones who are trying to get out of it.

Wii Fit has successfully beaten EA Sports extremely popular EA Sports Active to take the acclaimed number one spot.
Wii Fit has successfully obtained the number one position in the Nintendo Wii chart, fending off rival competition such as EA Sport Active and the recently released Grand Slam Tennis which incorporates the recently released Wii MotionPlus.

Nintendo is set to launch a new ultra precise version of the Wii Fit Balance Board alongside an updated and newly refined Wii Fit.
Japan’s Nikkei newspaper has leaked details of a newly revised Wii Fit and Balance Board ahead of Nintendo’s planned announcement at E3 this week. Wii Fit Plus will include additional exercises for gamers to participate in and will include a more accurate balance board.

Wii Fit continues to top the charts in Britain for the 13th consecutive week in a row.
Sales for Wii Fit show no signs of decline in the United Kingdom with the title sitting atop of the UK all formats chart for its thirteenth consecutive week. Can it possibly top the eighteen week all-time record currently held by Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Only time will tell, but it’s certainly more than possible.

Wii Fit has continues it’s reign of the UK software chart, with the title holding the Wii number one spot for its fifteenth consecutive week.
Wii Fit has become the Nintendo’s longest-serving UK number one in the all platforms chart even managing to surpass sales of the fabled Pokemon Yellow for the Gameboy Advance.

Research has proven that playing the Nintendo Wii can help tackle the growing rise of obesity in the United Kingdom.
Researchers in Nottingham, England believe that giving away Nintendo Wii’s to family’s with overweight children will allow them to reach the recommended levels of physical activity that they need on a daily basis. The project has been assembled by Nottingham Trent University and the NHS who believe the health benefits of Wii Fit could be enough to entice overweight youngsters into doing daily exercise.

Wii Fit sales have surpassed those of long-running king Halo 3 on the Xbox 360.
Shifting an unprecedented 6 million units in the United States alone, the game has overtaken Halo 3’s reign of 5.9 million units sold. Equally impressive is the fact that Halo 3 has been available for purchase since September 2007, whilst Wii Fit was only released onto the gaming market, May 2008.

Nintendo’s highly successful Wii Fit continues to remain steadfast at the top of the all formats chart for its fifth consecutive week, proudly beating off the likes of Call of Duty 5 and Guitar Hero.
With stores still experiencing stock availability problems since the games launch last April, it’ll certainly be interesting to see just how long into the future Wii Fit can maintain its dominant stance.

In preparation for the hard-slog of the London Marathon a father and daughter team are encompassing the best in modern gaming technology for the gruelling feat, Wii Fit.
The runners, 20-year-old Katie McGregor and her father, Ian, are running the race in aid of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. They believe intense sessions on Wii Fit, along with a their family treadmill, should enable them to train adequately for the heart-felt task ahead of them.
