Pushing for pole position and skimming in front of Sega’s official Olympics game is the infamous Mario Kart Wii. Previously at third, the heavily criticised title slipstreams to the number one position.

Exciting details have emerged regarding the next anticipated online Mario Kart Wii battle.
The third challenge pits gamers against one of the infamous spiked spinners from the brilliant Super Mario Galaxy in a battle style arena. To defeat this notoriously formidable foe players will need to eat the mushrooms littered around the course whilst charging head first into the spinner to thwart it off the edge of the arena.

In a unprecedented move Nintendo have decided that they’re banning any Mii’s named Hitler from their Wi-Fi service.
Anyone who connects to the Nintendo Wifi service with a Mii named Hitler will receive the following message ‘You cannot access Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection using this Mii name. Please change your Mii name and try again’.

Nintendo have just unveiled their latest Mario Kart Wii competition which will pit worldwide competitors against each other on the classic GBA Battle Course 3.
Only players who use the Wii Steering wheel as their control method of choice will be eligible for this competition, so unfortunately those of you who wish to enter the competition with the classic controller or GameCube controller unfortunately won’t be able to do so.

Mario Kart Wii is currently sitting pretty in the video gaming sales charts, as interest in the latest instalment in the excellent Grand theft Auto franchise begins to wane.
Whilst Grand Theft Auto is breaking all kinds of incredible records, Mario Kart steadily climbs to the pole position of Amazons best selling video games chart, closely followed by the Wii Steering Wheel peripheral in second place.

An enormous glitch has been discovered in Mario Kart Wii enabling gamers to race one full lap of three in time trail mode, this subsequently awards them with a near impossible time.
Nintendo having discovered this gaping flaw are determined to take action; “We have only been made aware of this in the past two/three days since release. At this stage we are looking into it.” claimed a company representative when questioned by popular online publication CVG.

Nintendo announced today that two of its key franchises will be arriving in the United Kingdom in April.
Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit are set to be unleashed April 11th, and 25th respectively, ensuring chaotic scenes at gaming emporiums throughout the nation.
