The sublime Mario Galaxy has taken the American video gaming charts by storm as 500,000 units fly off store shelves.

Trumping Zelda’s ten year reign, Mario Galaxy takes the unrivalled accolade for the highest rated game of all time.
Whilst Zelda: Ocarina Of Time averaged 97.6/100 from 31 reviews, Super Mario Galaxy averaged an unbeaten 97.8/100 from 30 reviews.

The immensely fun looking Super Mario Galaxy has rocketed straight to the number one position in the Japanese software charts selling an incredible 250,000 units in its first week of sales.
This jaw dropping figure reveals that Shigeru Miyamoto’s legendary platformer has nearly managed to outsell the entire Japanese top ten chart once over!
