EA have told technology website, TechRadar, that the forthcoming Wii motion Plus is unbelievable accurate and at times over responsive.
Speaking to technology publication TechRadar an EA Sports representative gave his impressions on how well Wii MotionPlus works in comparison to the motion sensing techniques of the Wii Remote.
“At times it’s overly responsive. It had so much fidelity that at times we have limited that fidelity to make it a compelling experience and giving you full total control.”
Thomas Singleton – producer of EA’s Grand Slam Tennis

Peter Moore, head of EA Sports, believes Nintendo’s forthcoming Wii MotionPlus is nothing short of amazing.
Speaking to sporting publication, Firstcuts, Moore proudly boasts that the difference between the standard Wiimote and the added MotionPlus controls in EA’s upcoming Grand Slam Tennis game is “spectacular”.
“What the Wii MotionPlus allows you to do is do a true authentic sports motion. When you swing the racquet [in Grand Slam Tennis] and you bring it back for an overhead lob or smash, then that is reflected. The amount of sensitivity that now brings allows true sports motion.”

A playable demo of Life-Sim/RPG adventure Spore Creatures has snappily arrived on the Nintendo Channel and is immediately available for download for those who wish to dabble in the evolutionary game.
You’ll be tasked with designing your very own race of monsters from scratch, after which you can muck about at your will with them in an RPG-like adventure. It may be a stripped down version of its PC counterpart, but at least you won’t have to spend the best part of your bank account on suitably equipping your PC.

Gaming powerhouse EA are now admitting that they initially backed the wrong console.
We made the wrong call there (by betting on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360), which made this transition harder than it would otherwise be. But now we’re catching up, and I think we’re fine.

An outspoken Phil Harrison makes a stonkingly bold claim stating that that third party developers miss 40% of the Wii audience.
To counteract this fairly audacious claim EA Blueprint’s Neil Young went on record to cite EA’s very own Smarty Pants as evidence that this fictional claim isn’t entirely true.
