Although the Wii platform and its diversifying audience are exactly the people you’d think UbiSoft would target for the sequel to the critically acclaimed Beyond Good and Evil franchise, its creator Micheal Ancel dosen’t believe this is the case.

    Have you seen it? I wouldn’t think Wii is exactly what Ubisoft would target with this game, just look at it. The new game is heavy on the cinematics. Lots of computing power at use here, stuff you can’t get with Wii.

    The point being is that the Beyond Good and Evil franchise is one that’s prefect for the Nintendo’s demographic. It’s unlikely the franchise will fair as well on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 primarily because the appeal for those types of games just isn’t there.
