Billy Pidgeon, IDC analyst has speculated that the next bout of video gaming consoles will learn from Wii.
Pidgeon believes that instead of creating new hardware from the ground up and investing in costly components, hardware manufactures will instead expand on existing hardware much the same as Nintendo did with Wii, in turn leading to much cheaper consoles for consumers.

Indeed, Nintendo have certainly set an radical example with the Wii.
The Wii is by far the best next gen console. I have both the PS3 and the Wii but I enjoy the Wii games much more
