Nintendo are adamant that their recently launched Wii console is going to break boundary’s, not just to how we play video games, but just who it is that’s going to play and experience video games.
Gone are the days when aspiring video game publishers and developers solely developed video games for your stereotypical male gamer, now its envitable challenge is to aspire to the previously unheard of species: the female gamer.
It should come as no surprise then that the Wii has been given an fairly hefty advertorial within the hallowed pages of none other than the fashionable woman’s magazine Glamour, which contains the following five definitive reaons why every girl needs a Wii:
- Because isn’t it about time we had something he wants, but can’t get his hands on
- Price per play it’s cheaper than a swanky gym membership
- Price per laugh it’s better than a night out on the town
- It’s one more reason for the girls to come round and the boys to go out
- Forget a designer sofa, this is the only home accessory a girl needs

Hopefully this could become the definitive list for a couple of you to persuade your girlfreind, or any female acquaintances to make the plunge and invest in a video game console. Though as Osc1882 stated a few of the points mentioned were as expected typically lame. In reality the best way to entice her is to let her go hands on with yours :)
